Dr. Megan Anderson is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in orthopaedic tumor surgery. She is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School. Her practice is at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where she is Chief of the Orthopaedic Oncology Service, and at Boston Children’s Hospital, in association with the Orthopedic Center and the Dana Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. She now lives in the Boston area, but grew up in Florida where she attended the Benjamin School. She received her BA cum laude from Wellesley College and MD Alpha Omega Alpha from the University of Florida College of Medicine. Her internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery were at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and she came to Boston for the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Oncology Fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She is very active in the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society, Children’s Oncology Group, and the New England Orthopedic Society. She is an Associate Editor for Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research where she is the author and editor of the CORR Tumor Board Column.
