Submission deadline is Monday, October 5, 2026
The New England Orthopedic Society (NEOS) invites submissions for our 2026 Fall Meeting, to be held Friday-Saturday, November 20-21, 2026, at the Conference Center at Waltham Woods (Massachusetts Medical Society Headquarters), 860 Winter St, Waltham, MA 02451. We encourage Medical Students, Residents, and Fellows to submit abstracts for original scientific papers to compete for prestigious awards and present their work to a distinguished audience of orthopedic professionals.
Podium Presentations (Kilfoyle Award): The best original scientific paper will receive a cash prize, with additional cash awards for second and third places.
Poster Session: Accepted authors will participate in a guided poster tour, offering a platform to discuss their research with attendees and Faculty.
Networking: Engage with leading orthopedic professionals, fostering connections for future collaboration and career advancement.
Abstracts must represent unpublished original work, though submissions to other meetings or journals (not presented) are permitted. We strongly encourage mentors to motivate their Residents and Fellows to submit.
Format: Submit a 300–350-word abstract as a PDF or Word document via email to our Administrator at ne-ortho@mms.org.

Objective
Methodology
Results
Conclusion
Categories: Indicate one of the following:
1. Basic Science
2. Database/Survey-Based Research
3. Clinical Research
Authorship: Maximum of two (2) submissions per main author.
Eligibility: Research must include at least one author affiliated with a New England or New York-based institution.
File Naming: Please use the format [MainAuthorLastName]_Abstract_[Category#].pdf/docx.
Submission Deadline: Monday, October 5, 2026
Notification of Acceptance/Rejection: Friday, November 2, 2026, via email
Presentation Details: Oral presentation and poster guidelines will be provided to all accepted authors.
